Heavy maritime table compass with magnifying glass, map reading compass in a decorative wooden box, labeled Henry Hughes and Son Ltd. London 1941. A powerful reading magnifier can be folded out from the compass. We have placed particular emphasis on the quality and historical accuracy of the objects, using the highest quality materials.
General:
The article imitates antiques from the time it was manufactured new, according to the old template. The incorporated signs of use ensure the antique character and are intended to underline the nostalgic appearance. Therefore, these signs of use are intentional and do not represent a quality defect.

Legend:
The walk through time has one goal, find your way like adventurers and explorers did in the old days. With this model of an old map reading compass you not only get a fine and historical looking measuring device that leads you on the right path, it is also a collector’s item for the desk or the maritime corner in the hobby room. It also serves as an ideal gift for little sailors or boy scouts. A folding bracket that shows the position of the sun and thus the time, and a needle that points north, all made of solid brass and then polished to a high gloss, combine to form a historical scientific instrument. It allowed seafarers to cross the furthest oceans with it, and adventurers the opportunity to discover and explore other continents.
